99 passat 1.8l turbo

I have a check engine light on and need to know how to reset the code or how to check the code...any one know how?

www.ross-tech.com

its just software on a laptop with a obdII connector to check you codes and all that. I have a VAG if you were to come to brandon meet this week I can bring it with me.
