Default vr6 + spray = ?

ok everyone is tellin me to get tires and spray the jetta..i am VERY shaky about it..i have NO clue how it will handle spray..but if i did spray it, it would only be a 50 shot until i get comfortable with that...anyone with experience or know someone that has done it please give me info about how it handled it..and what problems am i gonna be running into in the future with it and are there any mods i should get before i spray it..im asking bc i dont feel comfortable with the idea yet..and if you have a problem with what im asking dont post..keep the flamming to a minimum..i am just tryin to get some info here...also any links to info would be greatly appreciated too..

You should do suspension and brakes. It is nice to have a fast car, but if it doesn't handle for shit, then you will have a paper weight.

OK, first do not get a generic chip if you are gonna spray, makes sure you get a nitrous specific chip. Otherwise the timing will be advanced too much and bad things will occur in your cumbustion chambers. Second, I would do a dry kit or direct port (but direct port obviously involves drilling and tapping your intake manifold runnersand costs about 1300 bucks). With a wet kit, nitrous can puddle in the intake manifold of a VR and when you start the car, boom, it can explode. Your car would pull nice on the top end with spray, and a 50 shot is weak, go direct port 150 shot and be a big dog. You may want an upgraded fuel pump and or an adjustable FPR depending on how much you want to spray. Overall, I would skip the spray and save for a turbo kit.

turbo scares me..i know nothing about turbo's or superchargers and everythign i have worked on that was turboed never ran again..i have hooked spray up on a few cars but they were all hondas..i have never seen a vr on spray so i dont know what will happen..as for the puddling, if you dont spray under 3k rpms then that wont happen..

A supercharger is a little easier to install than a turbo system, it would be nice for daily driving, but for max performance a turbo beats a supercharger hands down. Just do your homework before you jump into any decision.

not to be a dick..but i have researched a lot..i know what a t/c and s/c can do..personally i wanna try this route..and later when i grow up a little bit and get some more money i will invest in a t/c..but for now i can get the same performance as a turbo for less money..so im gonna head down this road and see what happens i would just like to know if anyone knows anyone with a 24v vr6 that has spray and how it handles it.. i <3 bisquitman

You will never get as far on spray as you would with a turbo. When I say do your homework, I am not saying whether or not you know what a supercharger and a turbo do. But you don't seem to know much about VW's, so I am saying see the results that other people have gotten, figure out where you want to go with your car and make a smart decision.

And why do you love me?
