Had me crying and laughing as well and both at the same time. My wife and I are both in our early 50's and have been married for 32 years. We even dated for 5 years before we married and we have never seen such an accurate depiction of ourselves in a film

about two people in love. The man who wrote this must love his wife very much and know true happiness. This was honest and humble. I think I just learned to appreciate life a little more. My wife and I have actually never been happier or more in love than we

are today. We also recently found out we will be grandparents soon. So nice to share this life with an Irish Lady. I looked this up because I know the Irish have a way with poetry and my wife is Irish. I hoped to find something good and got more than I could have imagined. Very well done.

At first i wasn't taken with this film. But it grew on me. I think when the Queen died, she met up with Philip and they had a chat and a walk and a bit of tea and then the double rainbow flashed in the sky and the sun came out and spread its ways upon her grave but she was long gone in the heavens with her beloved.

Lovely short film! as it seems so many films from UK are (both short/ full length are..) hubby and myself prefer these as we call them “quiet films”.. often small, full of charm slice of life stories typically filled with heart, depth so unlike numerous overblown pound the point home US films (just how ‘we’ feel) note* just came across/ watched another one am sure that so many of you would enjoy (also by NITVShorts) is titled: Love at First Sight .. with the truly brilliant actors Phylidia Law and John Hurt (rip)… Thank- you for creating heartfelt stories.. bc, yes..there still IS an audience whom appreciates ‘slice of life stories’
