More a demonstration of just how good CGI is now for even a "small" budget film, but the plot was a little thin. However, I'm sure that that was exactly that - a demonstration of the CGI skills of the film maker. Tatas? Oh, yeah, they were good too... :O)

Why do so many science fiction writers think that violence and fighting is interesting? There are so many very interesting subjects that could occupy scenarios of the future rather than battles, or fights in general. As if space and technology is only useful for war. These days if you speak about chemistry many people can't imagine any use for it except a drug lab. Science fiction screenwriters must be boring people.
