i say good, about time they caught up. That just means we all win because automakers will keep trying to 'one up' each other. And i hate when people say this and that and compare shit online without solid evidence, just a bunch of fan-boy nut swingin' never solves or proves anything. It'll be fun to watch the race videos as these cars progress.

I think this car represents the potential of the 2011 mustang in the same way a k20 1992 civic represents the potential of a 1992 civic. Great pass, great car but to me it is less impressive than the guys running 11s in 2011 GTs with bolt on parts. Also whats up with no engine sound?

Yes, or maybe a lighter more powerful Camaro variant.
I doubt it'll ever happen and if it does i doubt I'll ever be able to afford it - But, it'd still be nice to see a factory ls9 z-28 or something of that nature. But if i know Chevy, they won't come out with a Camaro that's as fast or faster than their vette' unless it's very expensive and limited addition, i.e. the ZL1 GMMG Camaro Phase 3 with the aluminum 427 C5R Block, pushing roughly 600+rwhp and ran low to mid 9's 'stock' with slicks and a good driver. Maybe one of them will get gutsy and come out with a factory turbo set-up, without reducing displacement. Only time will tell.

you realize this car is just bolt ons and spray?
and 11 GTs have been in the 10s with just bolt ons already

and your k20 92 civic statment is fucking retarded
this car doesnt have a swap a turbo and whatever the fuck else your shit box has

it came off the showroom floor, then added a few bolt ons, slapped on a tranny that could hold the power, and sprayed the bitch

whats a 92 civic (no danm k20 swap) with half a dozen bolt ons and a dircet port run? 14s?

This car has a C4 transmission. Not a beefed up factory auto. It has a C4. A 3 speed built drag racing transmission. That and the 250 billion shot of nitrous he is running. My post basically states that if you change something in a car like, say, a motor (like me) or a transmission it does not represent the capability of the factory car. A swap of any transmission, much less one that has 3 less gears and was last built by Ford in 1986 is not merely a bolt on part.

If you read my comment a little more closely you will see that I stated I am more impressed with the guys in 2011 GTs running 11s (or 10s) without the big nitrous shot (250 is what I have been able to find) and the 3 speed transmission. I like the 2011 GT and am quite impressed with its potential. Also, I did not compare a swapped Civic to a Mustang. I made an analogy comparing a swapped Civic to a factory Civic as well as this Mustang (which was the topic at hand). I don't like and won't be dragged into an American car vs Honda conversation, though.

As for your comments on my car, I suspect you might again want to read a bit more closely next time. I never brought my personal car into this conversation and I feel it has no bearing on it. I wonder why you mentioned it?
