I think best time for me last night was 9.43 @ 77 and 2.3 60'.
Loss to the stang wasn't my best run either, I think that run was a little over 9.6 seconds.
And trust me, I've been trying to work the original clutch in this thing for a while now and it appears that 9.4 is the lower limit on it if I don't want to completely smoke it.
There is a good upgrade available though, so if I'm feeling really ambitious I may get around to it when the weather gets cooler, but then again that's time and money that could be better spent on the porsche if I can keep milking the stock unit on the R for a while longer.

Damn I thought that thing was running faster than that, even on my crap runs with no traction I was running 9.3's and so far a best of 8.9 @ 78 with crap launches. Still good runs though, the last time I went out there which was when the crx caught fire I managed a 9.3 with my screwed up transmission short shifting to second. Hopefully I can get my trans in sometime before the seals shrink up. Maybe we can line it up sometime in the future after I get my tune and crap.

I never claimed to be the fastest thing out there, just said I was having a hard time lining up with anything faster than me, lol.
Still, winning 6 out of 8 wasn't that bad of an evening. I'll always take my chances since even really fast cars don't do their best time every time.
I'm glad Shocker was finally willing to show me some good competition. Its not like I'm hard to find out there, lol.
