Not yet, but I'm hoping to pickup a camcorder by next months event. The way my headrests are built, it's extreemly easy to home depot engineer a mount.

Bad mounting spot. The seat backs move around, espeically in older Camaros. If the camcorder is light enough, you could mount it onto one of those shower curtain rods that uses the spring to stay up. I do have a race camera and LCD screen that I may sell. All you would need is a VCR that runs on DC and install it all.

I guess it would depend on the seat. I have plans for building a camera mount that holds onto the passenger seat but I never get around to it.

its better to mount it on the seat that you are sitting in.. Your added weight wont vibrate the seat as much.. if you plan on mounting it to the headrest brackets..

Duct tape it to the hood, or around the T-tops on the Camaro.

That's not a bad idea. Just make sure to use plenty of duct tape that way the safety people can't say it's not securely attached.
