longer gears=less wheel spin
short gears=spin tires off rim lol.
With a diff, good tires, and decent suspension, that would not be the case

I run a GSR with an LS final and Wavetrac B16 diff (same as LS) and I love it....

There is a guy on here selling a 93 GSR transmission WITH a spare GSR gear set for like $400... You should look into that
hmmm, what RPm are you at in 3rd gear at like 60mph?

gsr tranny and Ls final is pretty close to a Ls tranny.

i talked to Jeff evans about it and he said you would run the same times, but have a little more mph with shorter gear tranny.

idunno i like the short gears myself. ya just have to learn how to shift faster!!!
my b16 tranny works pretty good but it's livin on borrowed time with what i;ve been puttin it through!
i really need to get off my ass and put my hydro type r internals in the cable gsr case i just got a while back. i figure that's lots easier than going through all the hydro conversion drama in an ef. but yeah, the longer gears just take the car longer to get up through the gears.

and yeah, listen to what chris is telling ya! he's had alot of experience with making a turbo'd car with a gazillion hp get the power to the ground!

No thanks, Mine should be good for a while.

I talked to somone recently about a set that they were selling on another forum. Does your brother have a black 96-98 Mustang GT?
