Seriously, he has a much better chance then your thinking. I'm kind of taking a step or two back from when it's performed the best. I'm adding weight with a roll bar, 5 pt harness, and taking away gear running the 28" DR's when I'm optimally geared for 26" slicks (I'll be upping the gear to match 28's when i pick up a set of 28" slicks, but thats another time).I usually take the passenger and rear seat out for about 100lbs savings. Im probably going to leave them in. So with the roll bar, and seats in, I'm looking at an added 180-200lbs.
I also MIGHT run it on the street tune, pump gas (roughly 80 hp down from the race tune). I want to see what it runs in full street trim.
But then I may drop some 110 in there, change pulleys (I dont have the liberty of cranking a boost controller) rip the shit out, and see what the best I can get it to do on the DR.
I'm thinking I may be a full second or more off of my best time.
Or I may just leave ALL the interior out after the cage install next week and take it up there as a shitboxtincan! If there was some money on it, I'd definately rock it gutted
