cali authority aint having it!!
what someone should assist me in doing, or atleast taking the initiative and doing themselves is, exploit the flaws of the govt. to the public. the govt. isn't spending any money to help get street racers off the street, they are obviously making money off of it...but at the same time, they are shutting down our local tracks, forcing a lot of people to have nothing else to turn to. they don't want to help anyone build new tracks (even when they are presented with ability to make revenue)

Sneak,
Read a little closer or hell I'll explain another way.
Maybe these guys were doing wayy stupid stuff, like racing in a neighborhood. But I doubt it. I also doubt all the cars they have crushed had stolen parts. The pt about the no helmet is that 2 cars racing on an vacant rd is not a threat to the gen public, just to the 2 racers, like not wearing a helmet which is legal. Better??

Next response, how do you think the govt is making $ off trying to stop street racers?? The traffic tickets don't come close to the covering the costs of the PD and whatever stings they are doing.
Add this up(ie cars, helicopters, light bills in the offices, insurance for the officers, ....
They have to be getting pressure from lobbyist or teenage parents or something. What has happened that is probably not reversible is the ability to apply logic to arrests and sentencing.

alright, say in a total week there is 20 man hours dedicated to cops being at CCC/Gandy friday and saturday...they only have a few squad cars roll to both, maybe 3-5, at what, roughly 15$ an hour? then a single helicopter...so they might blow. so maybe 5k spent on a weekend? they pop atleast 2-3 people, thats 1500 right there. they also radar, so im sure they make the rest up in no time....by shutting down the tracks, they know they are moving more racing to the street, thus attempting to add to their profitability. it is cheaper for them to make this PR programs that seem like they help get racing off the streets, when in reality, its just a cheaper solution then building a place where we can go, and they can actually make an impact on racing around here. they care about business..not people.

yeah its all to prove a point (hopefully it'll get across the heads of some of em) and if it doesnt, then they get caught again, they'll have more problems to deal with rather than a smooshed car.
someone mentioned earlier about the identification stickers comming off. I had a sticker on my tranny right next to where it says b16a. The sticker had a bar code and a bunch of numbers...I take it I would be f'ed if I was pulled over in cali??
