no, no displacement envy. I personally would rather take my 2 liter and outrun, if not, run with all of the v 8s and crap. personal prefference.
I was pointing out that only domestic fans/drivers consider automatics to be sportscars/race cars.
A performance upgrade should be a 5spd (or 6 depending) not a stall converter...

a stalled auto will outrun a manual car with the same mods to the same car any day.. down the drag strip at least

that small piece of information never seems to sink in for some reason, its cause when cars make less torque than my lug nuts they can run manuals forever at the track.




PS and yes i know manuals can trap into the 190s and so on, but I have yet to see a funny car, top fuel or promod with one trapping 250-330.
