its really badass since thats a goof friend of my dads hes a charter captain that launches from the marina down the street from my house lol

 

That looked like eggmont key right behind them....

Seen a few Hammerheads that big & maybe a little larger in the channel....

nothing sux more then fighting a fish for a couple hours then having a big ass shark cut it in half.....its like they do it on purpose, those bastards.

anyway looks like fun can wait to go to boca grand again.

 

i doubt it, that looks like they are down around Boca. i dont hardly see any hammerheads around sp beach (which is where your all thinking this is) tend to see them in 10-12' water and alot closer to the channels. and more predominantly around anna maria/holmes beach

that tarpon was no 140lbs...it was small, maybe 110ish at best. i've never seen such poor tarpon fishing in my life, but i guess since it was kids, its kinda ok. they should have let the tarpon free spool and ran with it if they wanted to keep it on the line...personally when they coulda touched the leader they should have cut it and let it run.

 

I would of been so pissed! I usualy only fish with my dad, and he carries a gun with him on the boat. I would of droped a few clips into that shark, unless the shark had vtak.
