congrats you can work on your car...but
i dont have to swap engines i make hp with what i have. i can do basic car maintence, but when it comes to porting head and manifolds i cant do that. Also when you buy a procharger as well as many oter types of forced idutcion, when something really bad happens (blower blows up) one of the first questions they ask is, Who installed it?
plus why the hell would i risk lowing up a motor by not letting a certified professional work on my car. when you have $30,000+ into a car you tend to let others be responsible if something goes wrong.
i do alot of work on my bike. its easier to access, but there are somethings i'd rather leave to someone who knows more then i do, because they have been doing longer then i have been alive!

you could have bought a low 13sec 91mustang GT (my buddy just did) for $3100 with an extra motor (306ci) so do not cry about money. you picked a weak platform, its going to take some work/money to cut off time at the track

Well thanks for clearing that up, see you can be intelligent without being an asshole. Was it that hard in the first place? It just sucks when domestic owners (you) come in here to bash hondas. When I come into one of your threads and bash your bike, or your car or anything you own, please by all means come back in one of my threads and do exactly what you did earlier in this thread..

i own an import a suzuki and i just know you want a fast bike go to japan, want a fast car get one with a big motor V8 or bigger (exception being the supra or an NSX i like those enough to sell either the viper or the vette for.)
you really want domestic people to stay out of your tread post it in honda tech not video post. the video post is one of the most visited parts of this forum. if you post up slow shit, you have to deal with the fact that people have faster cars then whats in the video. And myself for example will let you know how slow it is.
i know the honda owners travel in packs just like the DSM fellas....like little scrawny wolves, once you blast one they seem to come from everywhere. thats the nature of owning a specific brand, you cheerlead for what ever you own, and defend it when its made fun of. get your panties out of a twist.
what if i owned a twin 57trim NSX (i wanted to trade the vette for it) and called your shit slow....its not so much that its a honda.....its the fact that it runs a 15+ in the 1/4mile..... i dont hate 4 cyclinder imports, i just poke fun at them. i loved to drive my friend's high 12 low13 sec GST until it broke (haha) and he sold it.
