I dont care what anyone says, That car was badd ass. It sad that they lost becuase of an oversight.

Also, I dont get that RX7 had issues turning on. If you noticed he said it was getting hotter the more they ran, and it had trouble turning on.

^ They peiced the RX7 Together aswell from spare parts. The rx7 body they used is their race car, but the motor they used was thrown together for the show. Just so If they lost they wouldn't be losing another 4k with a nice motor. It most likey had low compression and the coolant seals were going. The civic never did stand a chance though, that 7 had 400hp at 10psi, clearly capable of alot more power with just a touch of the ebc.

 

Which I'm sure they did to secure their victory the last couple races.

 

the rx launched its ass off the last run. he reeled in those 4 lenghts before the civic even moved. imagine if it had slicks.

so if a 60-1 is a "spare" it sucks? to me a spare means a resonable backup that would be used if something broke. it doesn't mean part you went dumpster-diving to get. you don't show up to a cock fight witha duck unless your a dumbass, they prepped their car to what they thought would be a fair challenge.

Wrong, i din't see gobs of smoke after it started, cooanlt seals were fine, plus it wasn't a 3rd gen motor with the common seal prob. when the haltch temp sensor reaches a certain degree wheather it be air temp or coolant, it modifies the map by pulling timing or adding fuel based by how you setup the cooant ignition or fuel map. thats why it started, it just needed time to cycle and col down.since it was heat soaked after it got running as you saw in the last race it had plenty of power. he could have 70 all the way around and it would still start quick. if he dropped comp from a seal it would most likely not start and even if it did it would run shitty and have no power.

 

It would not "start up quick" with 70 all around, and I didn't mean he fucked up a seal, dropping in a "used" motor with somewhat weak compression is what they did. And I don't know where the hell you got a 60-1 sucks cause I didn't say that, if it's a spare shit even better. Get your head out of your ass and stop putting words in my mouth
