I understand what you are saying but it would be different if you knew more about VTEC and it's power. Even the NSX has a 3.2L VTEC V-6 engine but sounds better than that! here's a video to show that. This NSX chirped every gear because the VTEC and it's Turbo.

it just sounded turboed???? But damn fast tho. I dont get it i have raced a stock NXS and a Moded S2K and i cant tell what it is. I have raced All most everything Vtec and i guess i just wont ever get it.

 

you could barely hear the vtec cross over i had to look at the vafc light to turn red to tell when he hit vtec

 

well let's put it this way. you have a supercharged Ion, and superchargers when on full throttle sometimes you colud hear it. it has a whistling sound and a turbo your can hear the turbo spooling up and also makes a whistling sound following the blow off valve after you release the gas. A VTEC sound which you heard sounds the same in all VTEC cars, some cars are slightly different.

I don't hear mine kick in ever..... but I do feel it. I guess in a V8 it's different. LOL.

 

I can hear mine all the time??? But Vtec just gets loud and annoying. But i cant desifer the two annoyingness sounds from the other thats all.
I could nvr hear it But maybe i just have to love the car to hear somthing that isnt there

 

i can hear mine when it kicks in at 4800.

 

have you taken you car to the track? and what times did you get?
