Not to mention AWD is at a disadvantage from a roll. The EVO is excellent.

give me a break.....what is it with people about saying this mustangs are slow bla bla bla....look what the evo was running 33psi yeah that evo is fast and he has some stuff done to it...stock for stock the cobras would win.......but i the cobra was running 33 psi i would leave that evo like it was standing still....

A friend of mine (Jimmy with the IMV Cobra) weighed his car...it was 3740 no driver. They are HEAVY as hell... WAY heavier than an Evo.
The weight is the exact reason why that Evo pulled. Two cars with 600whp, one is 400lbs+ heavier. Doesn't take a genious to figure that one out.
And 300lbs makes a HUGE difference. I have had a passenger in my car, get out, get in the other car, and we repeated the same race on the highway its a substantial difference.
I was considering buying a Cobra....but just too damn heavy!
