Um, no intercooler fan? WTF? The best part is that the STi drivetrain won't completely destroy itself at that power like the regular WRX will.

Well thats an easy one, like the Honda saying goes, tring to go fast with front wheel drive is like the special olympics, even if you win, you're still retarded.

That STI is bad.

I'm not trying to start anything, but FWD sucks bro. There is just no getting around it. The SRT-4 is cool for what it is, but FWD is just highly undesirable for most.

exactly!!!! they should invest in a more efficient turbo. they should be able to see those numbers with almost half the boost.

the new cobalt motor with the 2.2 supercharged engine that makes over 200whp stock on 3psi. well theres a couple of race teams that are running only 25psi and have only 800whp+ and only go 186mph at half throttle and 236mph with in 3 miles and then 256mph within 5 miles and shutting it down cause they dont want to break the land speed record for door cars yet.

ant its the factory unibody cobalt chasis with only safety added and a front air dam.

do you understand what you are saying here?

a more efficient turbo making 500whp at half the boost would be too big and way too laggy. while the new ecotec motor is badass and has made great power, the design of the engine is only part of the equation when making power and torque at specific boost levels.

ideally, you want to the smallest turbo per horsepower goal. this way, you are maximizing the efficiency of the turbo and still getting good torque at lower rpm's. thats like glen's 240 (who says its has 700whp or whatever...)which does make good power but has nothing until 8k when the turbo finally spools. for some people, ALL they care about is a horsepower number and thats fine, but the car will barely run 11's with a turbo that big and it should be in the low 10's...with that kinda power.

on a side note, anyone want to take bets on when that sti destroys its first transmission, its second transmission, and each oem stock transmission thereafter before the owner cryotreats the gears and or goes to a dog box?
