Man screw that domestic crap eh? sr's come with like 200 hp stock. thats less then an srt-4. bring a 400+hp 240vs a bone stock z06 yeah your going to have a good (great)chance at winning, but when us V8 fellas go forced indction shit hits the fan. i wish my blower would come a little early cause the motor and bottle are waiting. oh i wish i was going to be at the track event to stop a little ass and get some #'s to back it up, but i'm taking the bike to jennings for some real excitement

i'm going to have to on lillzill's "kill"(and i will empahsize the "") because my good friend has an sr black top thats modded internally with a 25g (270whp) and still running low13's and high 12's on a good day..... i bet IF you beat a Z06 it was probably in the rain followed by the flyby... and A STOCK SR WILL GET STOMPED BY A CORVETTE Z06!

Since when are z06's in the 11's stock...at the track they run 12.7-12.9 consistantly. I could very well be wrong, but out of the 11-12 ive seen run stock , modded what ever...never seen an 11 sec z06. Nice cars tho.

That's with stickies, a cold day and a profesional driver.

Very rare is it to see a bone stock Z06 run under 12.6-12.7 at your local race track. Sure they CAN run that stock, but it usually doesn't happen. Same case with alot of 04cobra owners running low to mid 13s in their cars.

 

Alright basically I will break it down for all of you...

On a stock sr block you can make over 600hp. and do it reliably.
it had been done. i know someone personally that has done it. The way the sr is built is imo is just more efficient than alot of other motors. On stock boost in an s13 with a stock sr, they beat pretty much anything...granted the right driver is present. I have seen stock sr's rape the shit out of a stock 04 srt-4. and thats spinning like a bitch. Now im not one of those people that only likes 4 cylinders. I have owned a v8. And beat the shit out of fast dsm's and very fast hondas. whoever you are with the z06...if its stock you will lose. Thats just the bottom line. Shit greg raced a c5 sat night with spray and pulled him on 14lbs, haha and his turbo isn't even effcient at 14lbs. So with the right boost not to much on the street will get his 240.

You race what you brought...if you brought a stock z06...to bad for you.
