i am going to just clarify for all those who are wondering which would be better/faster stock. and that is the sr20det...let me tell you why.

the sr is not just limited to the 205hp s13. you people totally forgot that there is a s14 and s15. the s15 not only comes with 247hp a ball bearing turbo, 6speed trans, but it runs the same boost WITH a side mount, and would beat your guys' neons. put that stock motor in a s13 and you would for sure lose. but wait... you have a 4 door it is not fair right? let me swap a stock sr out of a pulsar and put it in a g20, the gtir has over 240hp, underated, with 4 individual throttle bodies, and the option to make it awd. the neon has .4 on the sr. whoopdie do. fact is the states never got the sr in a production nissan car. they must be swapped. you are comparing the older sr to a brand new 2.4 liter. now wouldnt it be more fair, and make MORE sense to compare to a more current sr like the s15 motor. the nissans will always be a better car. RWD? HANDLING? NOT A NEON? not trying to be a dick, but those are the facts. and if someone still wants to dispute it. you are an idiot.

david you won and lost once this is true. but come on..., he has a front mount which doesnt REALLY help with a stock turbo and boost, (right? remember you and andrew??). and a down pipe...? your car makes more power, and has a fmic. why not give him that, and race him again?

I never said that you didn't beat him...you just assumed. Yes you did beat him once, But the thing is that he wasn't in his power band at all. It wasn't an even race the first time and his throttle cable came off. Haha you thought he had nitrous when infact his car was just running the way it should...thats what makes people ricers. When they have to fabricate excusses to justify their loss. I told you your car felt fast. I still give neons respect. And you have to understand something...your comparing the newest neon to the oldest sr, your a ricer just for picking out the oldest one. Lets get a pulsar with an 04 neon from a stop. That would be cute. Infact why don't you race the g-ride? Its the red g20. With a pulsar gtir motor. It is completly fucking stock. And the only reason it has a front mount is because its the stock top mount relocated to the front. Due to hood clearence issues. So after you race that guy from a dead stop. Then you can never say you fairly beat a stock sr20.

 

okay and i never said nitrous yea his throttle cable came off before we raced sorry his motor is falling apart, and the 2nd race was out of my powerband like i said the first race he was out of his...you need to read back a few post before sticking your foot in your mouth...and i offered to race him again...from a stock (also mentioned that a few post back) so read then make comment...that would help

and greg you are right about there being so many different sr motors to compare one...and penis you brought up a race between ricky and i when jamie made a comment about me racing and beating another sr20 with a manual boost controller...and for the 3rd time of me posting this when i beat ricky he was out of his powerband when he beat me i was out of mine...domestic car...import completly diff powerband all together thats why we should go from a stop and greg you know the whole powerband thing...like when you and matt raced

and penis im picking out the oldest motor, you brought up yourself when you mentioned ricky and i...your a ricer arguing about a car you dont own and dont even have a car in general...me=no rice cuz i never lie about winning or losing, and the reason i used the specs on the s13 is because thats the most commonly used swap with nissans...

and the srt4 motor is being put into a different body next year with more power and even talk of rwd then i guess that and the s15 should run?

 

and i never said the srt4 was a better car...i just think they look better (but thats my opinion entirely)

and exactly the sr has been around for 15 years...skittles=2 years and already they are running 11's and those are daily drivers...not bad for a 2 year old fwd car with less vendors to choose from (and thats all on stock block and internals)...they make sick gains power wise with little mods...dont belive me just say so and ill be glad to put up the link for you to see!

and before you come in and say the sr's can do this to penis...i never said that couldnt, because i know they can

to me the sr20 and srt are comparable motors

and so what if its a neon platform...240's are exactly luxury cars either

 

and the 11 sec skittle i mentioned, goes by riven on here and yes he lives in tampa...and i know there is another one running low 12s, goes by eblue...there is suppsed to be another one with an agp kit in the mid 12's havent seen or met him yet...and the 11 sec one is an 03...that means he is running that with no lsd
