I know the whole issue about drag V8's is over but I would just like to say one thing. No imported motor from Japan or Germany is as good Straight line and overall power then the V8 hemi top fuelers use. Using intelligence they are the most effecient motors for getting the most power from the smallest displacment. Yes Yes they are huge 500cubes to be exact but the produced in 1999 6000hp and today its estimated at 8000hp but this is good only for straight line and short bursts. Indy cars and Stock cars worry about mileage and shiot so smaller motors with less power and lighter weight cars is important. Import smimport every supercar engine in the world today has advantages and disadvantages but all are cool.
