I've been making those and Liquid Plumber bombs since 3rd grade. I don't know why they're using Pepsi, but ya know, whatever.

Step 1. Start by going to everyone's house you know, and taking any bottle they have (you may have to diebold someone's Pepsi, but that's just icing on the cake ). Just make sure it has a sturdy cap (a.k.a. soda bottles, etc.), since you don't want a b.o.v. on your bombs. I've always used plastic, though i suppose you could use glass. If you do, get it on video; I'm a little curious as to what happens. Stay away from the little bottles CaptainB16. They not only aren't as loud, but they tend to blow up REAL quick. One day i was making some CO2 bombs (dry ice) with .5 liter bottles. Well, as i launched one off my balcony, that bitch blew up about 5 inches from my hand. It felt like getting punched in the palm by a heavyweight. Also, i knew a guy who used milk jugs (bigger the bottle the better), but i haven't been able to find any with sturdy enough caps. They all blow off before the bottle blows (b.o.v. ).

Step 2. Go to the store and buy a shitload of dry ice (it's pretty cheap). Don't buy any more than you plan on using though, since your freezer isn't cold enough to sustain it. If you try, you'll go in the next day to find nothing but an empty dry ice bag. Anyway, crush that shit up, fill your bottle about a third of the way with it, cover that with water, screw the cap on tight, and throw/drop/insert in enemy's ass, or whatever you feel like doing with it. Just don't stand next to it and you should be fine. BTW, the more water/dry ice combo, the less time you have before step 3.

Step 3. BOOOM!!! (May take multiple minutes, depending on the amount of "boom solution" you put in the bottle. Experiment.)

Another less known, but equally as cool alternative, is to use aluminum foil and Liquid Plumber. Well, i've heard that real Liquid Plumber doesn't have the right chemical in it, so i've always used the Dollar Store generic shit (it works for sure and is cheaper). Anyway, just make a bunch of little balls of aluminum foil and substitute them for the dry ice. Substitute the LP for the water, and complete the same steps as above. After the boom, you should have a tidy little hill of petrified aluminum foil balls. Both ways are fun as hell.

I have to make a comment about the video. Although it was decent, I have to question the intelligence of the people doing it. They would let it sit, then pick it up and throw the bottle to get it to blow up. Remember the story about the little dry ice bomb and my hand? Well, I don't care to find out what happens with a big bomb (is was hoping to see an example on the video ). If i got impatient, I would just throw something at it, or shoot it. I would NOT go pick it up. However, i believe that if you let the bottle blow on it's own, then it's louder, since it lets the gasses reach maximum allowable pressure. Anyway, good luck, have fun, and be safe. But most importantly, BLOW SOME SHIT UP! (YEAAHHH-lil' jon style).

what also works good is to get an empty c02 cartridge and hollow out the end with a nail or something similar then goto a pawn shop or sporting goods store and buy some of the reloading power that you use to reload shotgun sheels, etc. but make sure its the really good stuff i think its like FFF grade, fill that little bitch to the top with power and get a cannon fuse to put in it, or a a thick green waterproof wick that you get with firecrackers packs and put it in there. then get a candle and melt a little wax around the edges so the power stays in. lite the fucker and get the fizzzuck outta there cause its loud and throws shrapnel. i once blew apart about a 12 inch diameter tree with just one. they are also fun to "fish" with if ya know what i mean.

 

The in pool ones were badass. Thanks for postin' those. I've never done that before, I sure as hell am going to try now. I may have to try MustangMan's contraption also. I'm not sure if dry ice bombs are illegal, but i'm pretty sure gunpowder one's are.
