it gets turned off when the site has really high traffic. during high traffic, the search casues the site to run very slow. its back on now

The google search up above there works still. It doesnt use our server to search so doesnt affect TR. It relies on TR being indexed by google, which it is very well so try using that.

My main complaint about that is the google search makes it unnecessarily hard to search for topics by users.
