They both have their perks. Body lift; tho cheap is a Pain in the dick to install, especially if your new to trucks. BUT people would argue this not cool because the truck is more top heavy. I have a body lift, and personally dont feel a damn thing. Now suspension, yes tho a little more pricey its safer, and I feel its much eaiser to install. That is if you really like to wrench and get dirty. Just make sure to get an alighnment after. Oh and correct size tires.

body lifts look horrible, but generally dont feel any more top heavy when on a farely short or stock truck. i bought my truck with a body lift and 33's on it, i could slide it into any turn without a worry of tipping....once i was on springs and 38s it was way too tippy especially on off camper shit. but they are cheap, easy, and quick to do. id do suspension if you can. better ride, more performance, and doesnt look trashy....but what is this going on?

well, IMO..i would sell the 2wd..and buy a 4x4..you can find em out there for cheap! And with the money you save from the 4x4 conversion with already having it..you could get some 1ton axles(dana 60s or 44hp up front)..for daily= i would do 8" suspension lift with 37s..4.88 gears..for mud/play= i would go 12" with 44s(maybe some body lift if you think you will have clearance issues)..5.38 or bigger gears..You can find most of this used on Chuckstrucks.net
