go with a wrangler..they are all over the place out there! and can have a lot of fun with them..If you want to start off with a good platform for some big/cheap potential..look for a 99+ f250/f350 4x4 with any motor..they come with 1tons already..and can find lift kits used all over..as well as wheels and tires..

 

yea not lookin for anything that big, still need the truck to be able to be a daily with halfway decent mpg

 

if you want good mpg..meaning 18+..go for small sized truck..yota, ranger..wranglers get 16-18..anything bigger you will be in the low to mid teens

 

My first truck was a ranger, easy to get to know and work on. I missed that so much, I went back! The mpg's suck dick in mine tho. That may be to the fact is on 35's with 3.73's. I had it on 33's and the mpg's were pretty decent. Plus you can find them decently priced.

 

ya nismo.throw some 4.10s in there you will get good interstate mpg..throw 4.56 in there and you will get whatever you would get stock

 

Thanks man, That sig picture is old, I have cut the exhaust up high built a custom rear bumper and trimmed the rear quarter panels so that I can wrap my bumper all the way up to the wheel well, I love this thing, She's on 33's with 3.93 geras gets 18-20 mpg and is pretty capably off road!...and there easy to work on and run forever! Mine has 192*** miles on her and I have only had to do a Wheel bearing!..

 

friggin a man, so far every truck i've called about i talk to the guy then the next day i ask him bout it or a test drive and they sold it the night before. just my luck

 

if anyone knows of anyone sellin a good 4x4 or at least decent lmk, not finding much with craigslist, only lookin to spend 3-3.5

 

I know. 4.56's have been on my "to-buy" list for ever
