i own both a 86 toyota 4x4 22r and a 89 jeep xj 4.0L

my opinion:

buy a toyota if you want to mud
buy a jeep if you want to trail

my Yota i drive to lakeland almost every weekend to mud in which i mud quite hard and when done i drive home... KNOCK ON WOOD!!! i've been doing this for almost 2 years now without ANY problems! also i drive this truck daily to and from work which is 40miles round trip(not a relaxing ride)...

my Jeep I just got about 2 months ago is nice BUT is more of a "Trail" rig than anything else... its lifted, 31in m/t's, and auto w/plenty of power from the I6(rides smooth like a caddy) BUT just just doesn't cut it in good ole florida mud...

BTW my jeep will be for sale very very soon! pm me for info...
