..still would rather have a Tundra(for a bigger truck) ..and an S-runner for a small truck.. I like toyota's if you couldn't tell.. I have a step side taco right now.. it's too small but it's nice. I like.. I want my 89 camaro RS back.. white with black sports stripes or cop catch me red like it used to be. or a lexus IS 400 yellow.. black with black windows is good as well... just my taste though...

The Nissan Titan has a 9400lb towing capacity. Last time I checked, the Tundra is only 8500, and the only truck the Titan only edged it out by 100lbs.

Oh, Dodge used their 2500 to compare it to the Titan. Strange huh?

tpamax... your entire argument is based on the fact that the titan comes with all this equipment and capacities 'standard'....

tell me.... what's the difference in price between your beloved titan and a standard f150 (with the standard wimpy 4.6L v8?)

ok... let's add the optional towing packages and engine to the F150 (we now have equal power and towing/payload capacity) and the f150 is still signifantly cheaper...

move up to tony's 3/4 ton pickup with all that optional equipment and his truck is still cheaper than the Titan....

Moral: The titan doesn't have available options for people to get the truck the need to do what they want at a reasonable price....

Oh, and I'll give it a 1/4 mile run ANYTIME.....

dont jump down tampamax's throat here huys, he was simply stating the facts as can be seen on a sheet of paper. he is only defending (if you choose to call it that) the titan because he feels that brand-based bias blinds people from the numbers. if you feel the titan is not for people looking for a truck and you happen to be looking for a truck, stop posting. his comparisons for "standard" are just that, the standards, nothing more. And to anyone who has verbal diahrrea and decides this is a good place to up your post count, go to the free for all forum. props to you tampamax, you have proven your point and thats all you can do.

The Titan is a nice truck.. but not my type of truck. Too.. I don't know.. baby-boomer'ish. Not truck enough.

Has great accelaration, drives nice, looks nice.. but not enough truck for me. Give me a new-style Ram 1500 with a Hemi.
