Summer is here, let's have some fun!

In a week, we are going to host a modest cruise-in event here at Factory Five to kick-off summer. I call it "Open House lite". The building will be open, and folks will have the chance to meet a good friend of mine, Kevin Byrd - host of Two Guys Garage, and to check out the new extreme truck.

In a month, we head to Ohio for the annual London Cobra Show held on June 24th. We also have a Factory Five night scheduled at Gillette Stadium in August. The cars have been parked in the showroom for the most part through the last three years of COVID, and we are excited to come back to life and put some miles on them.

Join Us Here for a Factory Five Cruise-In, Sat. June 3rd

Join us on Saturday, June 3rd from 9 am to noon here at Factory Five for a fun cruise-in! The building will be open for tours. Factory Five customers and car guys are welcome to bring your coolest ride, and visitors will have a chance to meet our good friend Kevin Byrd, host of Two Guys Garage. We will also be unveiling our all-new XT1 Extreme Truck.

While we are not having an Open House event this year, this fun cruise-in will be an “Open House lite”. All are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you on June 3rd for a fun morning hanging with cars!



Introducing the New Factory Five XT1

Many of you are aware that we have been working on an all-new concept... A "build-it-yourself" pre-runner truck. In 1995, we introduced the world to a new concept in Cobra replicas, namely the single-donor Mustang Cobra. Now, 28 years later, we are again introducing a truly unique new product we call the XT1.

The XT1 begins life as a 2015-2022 Ford F-150 Truck. We provide an all-new chassis and long-travel/air capable suspension (16" front travel, 20" rear travel!), composite front fenders, hood, and nose, composite rear fenders and tailgate, aluminum bed, and the rest of the parts you need to turn your stock F-150 into a desert racer Ford Raptor on steroids with rabies.

You can check it out in person at our cruise-in on Saturday, June 3rd. Full details will be available on our website shortly.

My good friend Chris Relyea and his crew at FormaCars have built a beautiful 5.0L Coyote-powered Factory Five Mk4 Roadster that is being given away to one lucky sweepstakes winner at this year's London Cobra Show. You can buy tickets (click here) for only $20, and all of the proceeds go to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It is a good cause, and the folks at the Ohio Cobra Club are good people. It's also an awesome car! The winning ticket will be drawn at this year's London Cobra Show in London, OH on June 24th.

12.04.2023 From the Driver's SeatThe holidays always bring back fond memories of years past. I realized the other day that the expression, "these are the good old days," is really true. It seems like yesterday that we shipped our first Cobra replicas, and that was almost 30 years ago!

Our newest Factory Five, the XTF, has begun shipping, and I decided to assign the first 100 kits a special designation as "Founders Editions." Time will pass quickly, and these first trucks will be responsible for a whole new chapter in the Factory Five story.

The new XTF truck has had me thinking quite a bit about the early days of Factory Five. It really feels the same.. the excitement, the new adventure, the feeling of knowing a secret that the world is just starting to discover! But it’s even stronger today with the new XTF. This new truck is as revolutionary as our single donor Mustang Cobra! Join Us on the Hot Rod Power Tour West

Factory Five's Nate Johnson is going to be at the Hot Rod Power Tour West, December 15-17, to show off the new XTF Truck and customers are invited to join us on the cruise. A three day pass costs $200, a single day event is only $70, and spectator tickets are only $10. This year, Hot Rod Magazine is unveiling a special Factory Five Type 65 Coupe that was built in the past few months IN the offices of Hot Rod Magazine to celebrate their 75th anniversary.
