sorry i didn't check my mail in time, but hey if there is a way you could make it over thurs. that's be great because i'm tiring to get this started up after we attempt to tap the line. but there are still a few wires and a hose which i do not know were they go

 

ok guys
last night i got mostly everything hooked up and stuff,
so i got it all ready, i double checked the whole motor for hoses and wires. got i ready to run
i went to hook up the battery, and as soon as i put my negative on the damn thing started shoting sparks all over the damn place.i have to have a major screw up in the motor bay, somewere but i don't know were to even start.
i think i might have put the starter cable in the wrong place, thats what happened last year to me. but if someone could run up here and take a look at it to check my work, that would be most awsome!

by the way i got the fuel line pressure clamped in, so that worked out ok so far.

 

I talked to my dad, u might've fried the wires that go to the starter... u might need to replace all the wires, or maybe the wires are fine, and what got messed up was the starter.. And definitely do that outside power source check on the starter. AGh We gotta get that thing running. pronto so i can do my ghetto swap as well!

 

lol, i swapped the starters from the other mr2, and it still does not do n e thing. and oscar we know that the positive wire is good because remember how that thing went off when i grounded it out, now i'm thinking that the groud might be f'ed up, but i don't know what the started is grounded out to...

 

ground it to the chassis. I have a extra ground strap for it lol.

at 5:15 my baby came to life!!!..then died about 5 seconds later..
n e ways i don't think she's getting fuel because the fuel relay is not conected to n e thing. and i don't have the wires to it.
i think i have to make my own wires run from the fuel relay to the ecu..
n e hints guys?

I JUST BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THE CAR WITH A WRENCH AND A SKATEBOARD. THE WHOLE SIDE OF THE CAR IS DENTED, PAINT ALL CHIPED TO THE FRAME AND THE BACK RIM ALL FUCKED UP. I WAS ABOUT TO BURN THE SHIT DOWN!!!

 

Did you hook up the clutch cables?

Does fluid leak from the master or slave cylinder?

did you torque the pressure plate to 240 inch/lbs?

i guess the brutal skateboard beeting my car got seemed to fix the clutch. i got it bleed. but now when i press the clutch in while its in neutral, it like whistels or something, its really really wired. but also when i put the car in gear as soon as i let off the clutch it grinds in a motha f-er. but i think i have the axil in wrong though so i think that might be it.
tell me guys if you might know n e thing

 

Sounds like the clutch is not installed properly.
