need help mk3 supra 87

Default need help mk3 supra 87

so i have a 7mgte supra and it was running fine but then the battery had died. and my friend put the jumper cables on backwards. so now all it does is crank but its not getting any spark, so idk what the problem is. i tried changing the ecu and doesnt make a difference. any other idead? maybe the coil pack blew? idk can anyone help me?

could have fried the igniter.

Did you check all the fuses? What have you tried so far as diagnosis goes?

checked all the fuses there good swapped the ecu . and checked the coil packs with a light tester and no light came from them so i guess the coil packs are fried.

a light tester? you mean a voltage tester? and no, that would not mean they are fried. that would mean they are not getting voltage, or if you mean tested them for spark, that means they arnt being triggered. they are triggered by the igniter, which is triggered by the ecu. go to the link i posted and test your igniter. sounds like the igniter is fried, not the coils.

If you end up needing an Ignitor, I have two extras. You can have one for twenty bucks.
