Default More problems with the 86 =/

Well I might as well make my thread about my 86. I'm cross posting from hachiroku.net

So I end up fixing the idle issue, I adjust a screw that angles the position of the throttle as seen in the following pictures.
Here is a shot of the area I'm talking about with flash:

Here is the screw I adjusted to bring the idle down without flash:

Now for the additional problems found tonight. After I did my victory dance, I decided to take it for a spin. As I'm driving everything seems to be checking out normal, so on and so forth.
After about 5 minutes I hear a very loud PSSSHOOOOO sound followed by a clunk underneath the hood. I pull over and get underneath it to investigate and find this:

There is oil EVERYWHERE. And judging from the dipstick it looks like it shot up and out. Now I know that means there's too much pressure building up, but why? This never happened before and only happened tonight after I got the idle back down.
I'm really at a loss with this car because it's just one thing after another. Again, I need your help folks!

Too much blow by? Maybe bad rings allowing pressure from the combustion chamber down to the oilpan and up the dipstick? Clogged(s) breather or something?

What exactly popped out? The dipstick or the tube the dipstick goes in?

The dipstick blew out. When I got home I left it running with the hood open and the same thing happened again. Pressure built up, and the dipstick shot about 3 feet up and over into the air with oil splooging into my face .

The breather hose is connected to the manifold where it should be and the compression should be good because the motor doesnt feel like it lost any power since I bought it.

If anything it feels more grunty after I fixed the vacuum leaks and idle.

I do have to do a compression test anyways just to make sure that they check out okay.

Anyone know what the normal psi readings per chamber should be on a blue top 4A-GE?

Thanks for your help fellas.

Did some research tonight and found out what the problem is.

I have a RWD TVIS manifold with a FWD throttle body. The problem lies here:

The breather nipple for the head is blocked off where it meets the throttle body. It doesn't go directly into the air chamber by slightly diverts towards the throttle body.

With the FWD 16V 4A-GE's the channel is on the opposite side, so a common fix to this is to install a catch can with a filter hooked up to it.

Or another more laborious route would be to "cut and shut", pretty much get a FWD manifold and cut off one side, weld it shut, and fabricate my own throttle plate.

Also, I can drill into the throttle body and create a new channel to mate up to the RWD manifold.

All these are perfectly fine to do just depends how I want to fix it.

I decided to just install a catch can (yay)
