So here whats new. I put the car in hiding for a couple weeks now. The alignment ate my tires and I was driving on a very sketchy tie rod setup, and no brakes other than my hand brake. 3 days like that and I had enough. But I cleaned out the garage so it could stay inside the whole time. Now Im waiting for cressida tie rods and ordering my fuel cell today.
New stuff: brakes are all hooked up, drift button is installed (lol), I made a sweet front lip out of a bug deflector I found at my favorite thrift store, $3? Hell yea. I de-rusted the trunk and painted it for now. I still need to weld in new stuff back there. Im also in the process of selling all of my s13 crap and dedicate myself to 1 car. And this car is way cooler than either of my s13s anyways lol. The money from selling that stuff will fund my purchase of a 16v and a welder.

Enjoy

So I spent $100 bucks at garage sales to make my garage cool.

And onto the car... Rear coilover time. As you guys know, Im into unusual setups. I like trying things that nobody has ever done. So I decided to make my s13 rear coilovers Fit my corolla. So I needed to reinforce the wheel wells. But I took it a step further. I wanted more strength, so I added a crossbar and triangulated it to the floor. I ties both wheel wells together like a strut bar but also makes the body itself slightly more rigid.

Enjoy-

P.S. Im using a Harbor freight flux and a flip helmet. This is my first welder and i had about 20 minutes of practice with it before I decided to start this

Finished!

Let me know what you guys think.

More progress Thursday. I took a day to dedicate to the Rolla. I finally bled the brakes, changed plugs, installed my new fuel cell (no more rusty engine killer!), welded in a trunk floor, re-mounted my exhaust, tuned the carb, and even gave her a bath. Pics inbound..

making fuel cell brackets--- waaaay cheaper than buying them

blam!

haha oops...

Today Im doing more front alignment work, and getting tires soon. Then I can finally go low =]

Thanks for lookin
