Default 87 cressida project

i just bought a 87 cressida and wanna do a 1uz swap and 5spd conversion how much of a pain is it to do or am i better off to go 1j with 5spd swap funds are not that great so the cheaper the better

The 1UZ with a 5 speed swap will be just a expensive if not more then the 1JZ swap. Theres pros and cons to both motors. So its more of do u want a realiable na motor. Or the fun of a turbo motor, which is also pretty realiable being that you swap it in corretly which also goes for both motors

i also had thoughts of just doing a 1j turbo and keep it auto but i rather have 5spd for a drift car

all 1JZ come twin turbo. Now a big single on a 1J would be a nice setup

if i go 1j i will go a big single turbo if i 1uz i am gonna supercharge it and i am not that smart with cars what a r154

Quantum-auto.com check it out very good guys that will make the adapter for the r154 as well as help you get everything set. Trust me these guys are good and know what they are doing.

R154 is the transmission, ill give you the r154, driveshaft, and clutch & brake pedals with slave for 500
