IDK in 86 they split from the supra, and was made into a FF platform, and most FF cars are a pain to do a lot of things on.

*edit
they go back to October 1970.

86 alltrac.. hmm celigirl has a shell and transmission for sale. just missing the engine....

but if you're looking for a 1stgen i'd suggest this '75 coupe in nc if its still for sale:

"Posting this up for my dad. 75 Celica GT, purchased from original owner's son.. The son inherited it in 1984 when his dad passed away. and just drove it occaisonally since then. Have all service receipts from 1975-1984 and the original window sticker. Just rolled over 100,000 miles. My dad drove it back to NC from Alexandria, VA. (450 miles) when he picked it up and he's been using it as a daily driver...averaging about 20 mpg. Nice little car, has a few minor rust areas, the paint is peeling off the hood, and could use some new weatherstripping for the windows. Asking $3500 " *i think its down to $2,000 now.

cant copy pix but its green, has a few small rust spots and if you want to see it you have to register @ www.1stgencelica.com then go to http://1stgencelica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5202
