the trucks are all geared to high anyway. i ran a 4.33 on my 22r in the celica kinda sucked on the highway but nothing horrid
lowest youll find in a supra is 3.727. the trucks usually ran a 3.42 like the celica the trans came from unless someone put a 4x4 rear in the truck. those are usually 4.10. if the truck is a 7.5in ring gear the supra and cressida 7.5in ring gears will work. im using a true trac lsd for the front of a 4x4 toy pickup with 7,5in r&p in my diff. swapped from 4.30 to 3.727 when i did it. if you need a 4.30 gearset i prolly have one thats not trashed. broken lsd but the gears should be good. id like to find another 3.727 diff or a 3.42 gearset for my beater so ill get better gas milage. if someone has a truck/supra/cressida with 7.5in ring gears for parts lmk.

but honestly id just change the speedo gears with the ones from your old trans.

wrong again. the first badges on mk2's in 82 said "supra" the "celicasupra" badge started later. idk why toyta changed back but i have some of the origonal 82 "supra" badges at home for my 84. i got pics on the car domain page as well. btw, if they wernt supras till 86.5 then how is the 97 the 15th aniversary model? toyota just screwed up. supra started in 79 wit hthe fuel injected straight 6 and 4 wheel disc brakes.

edit: heres a pic of the nose badge. i have the side pillar badges as well. and these are factory toyota badges.
