red seems to always do great work, nice dan. and what no love for the st165 gt4's? they were just as fast as the newer ones but lighter

duplicolor metalcast red. did reg engine primer first, the nthe duplicolor silver basecoat, then several coats of the duplicolor metal cast red till it got the deep red i wanted. paint says itll withstand 500deg so we shall see.

Now that I look at the pic with both cars, I can appreciate how Toyota took the styling points from their roots for the 5g Celi. They lost their touch after 99 :-/

its sad the 77 is a rust bucket i'd love to find one in good cond. i actually found one the other day that had a factory option turbo on it but the owner would not come off of it so sad

factory option turbo on a celica in 77? more like aftermarket kit. even if dealer installed itd be aftermarket. just like all the dealer installed hks and spearco and cartech turbo kits for mk2 supras.

how the heck did you see the Weber?? the louvers do not fit a coupe. (I was thinking about it myself). The hatch runs great. Its purpose is the motor and drive train. I am taking out those and dropping them in the coupe along with some cabling, under dash components and other little things here and there. The coupe has a 2Y motor in it right now that was installed very poorly and besides that it's a very week motor. The plan is to drop the 2Y back in the hatch and maybe sell it.

anyone interested?
