only other mk2 i know of that was turbo in the bay area was erics old 85 with a 6m that we turboed. i helped him rebuild the engine with ross forged pistons etc... as far as i know the motor still hasnt been sold. car got totalled a few years ago. then theres a guy with a 2j swap, but that was done recently. only 7m swapped mk2 i know of in the area is my 84. first did it back in 01 to my red one. then theres a kid in pineleas park i sold the full 7mgte elelectronics too but he did a ge swap. no turbo.

i'm so in love with uz swaps now. after i finish my ma70 drift car i think i'm gonna look for another RA24 to 1uz

no, im running a mk3 w58 for now.i bought an mk2 and mk3 w58 when i was originally going to swap the 1uz into my 280z because i got a good deal on both and i didn't know which one would fit better, but the car was junked and the mk3 trans fits like a glove in my celica. but if i get another project car, im going back to another z.
