ok so i just bought a running ae86....i kno it has a sohc carbed motor i think its a 1.8 from what i was told...i was a previous 240 owner and i kno nothing about this car exept its a whole hell of alot easier to get it loose and slide corners...the cars not in that bad of shape and ill post some pics when my lazy ass takes some.

any input with what i should really kno or help about the car would help cuz of the fact im totally clueless about the car

 

You bought a SR-5, your life is going to be hell. Change everything over to a GT-S.

The car isnt that impressive. Its light, reliable, and RWD....thats about it. Its an 80s econobox...its not even "quick," the SR-5 rear suspension blows and is a lot of work to switch out for a GT-S, and you have drum brakes.

Good luck with the car, but dont expect too much with it. I loved my GT-S, enough that I'll one day hunt it down and buy it back (its in Pennsylvania now) but boy are they overhyped. I have no idea how they got so popular.
