anyone know where i can get a hold of one? or maybe even thinking about picking up a plastic tank...not sure. my tank is aged...like my car and im finding rust spots that turn into holes....so if anyone has any suggestions on where i can find a tank or a plastic tank lemme know plz

p.s. already called the salvage yards that i know have my car most tanks have been sold already or have gashes in the bottom for draining purposes

 

cophers on causeway has a orange mk2 in the yard. might still be there. been a couple weeks since i was there. i need to grab a couple more parts from it myself.

tank was on it when i grabbed some stuff from it before. cophers doesnmt take the tanks out anymore. not sure why but not complaining. i just need to grab a couple mouldings off of it for my beater. maybe the blower motor if it turns out thats why the fan isnt blowing. got to check some ish in the morning on it.

 

went yesterday, the gas tank is stil there. its been unbolted already as someone grabbed the fuel pump.

 

ya ive been there. i pulled the fuel pump. the tank is gashed open or i woulda grabbed it...but thanks to celicasupra.com i found a tank on the forums! man i was gonna grab the hatch from the one at cophers but some douche through a radiator through the glass! my cars up and running, so now i just have to get small things

***i first saw the one at cophers like the day after they brought it in, i was doing my weekly walk through trying not to get my hopes of finding one there, and BAM i saw it haha

 

Thats how LKQ drains the tanks, they poke holes in them, what a waste.

 

that sucks. especially when there is a drain plug on the tank.
