Default Dyno'd my car...

I posted this on MR2OC, im just gonna copy it over due to extreme laziness:

Hello all,

Just got back from the dyno this morning. I don't think anybody knows me around here, so here goes the mods:

91na --> 3sgte swap
stock st165 3sgte block (8.5:1 compression), fully built MCS head
TTE HG
ATS TD06 20g kit on 15psi w/ 550cc rom tune
EMS Powered IC kit
ATS phenolic spacer
Berk exhaust
KO intake pipe and hot pipe
stock exhaust mani, ceramic coated
SX fuel pressure regulator, base fuel pressure @ 42psi
all braided fuel lines
Wolfatz side feed fuel rail
STOCK CAMS
STOCK INTAKE MANIFOLD
fresh ignition components

Seems i'm not making that much power after 6500rpm... but im still happy with the results seeing that i made 245hp/235tq on 10psi. my 350whp goal is now starting to seem realistic. What do you guys think i can do in the quarter mile? any input appreciated...

Cams will help tremendously with your torque fall off. Otherwise, looks good and inline with what other 3SGTE's with your mods make. Must be fun!

Thats pretty good. I think you would easily put down 13's maybe even a sub 12 sec pass. One question, why did you got with a 1st gen 3sgte? None the less I think that's a pretty good build. I would love to have 245hp @ 10 psi. I would definitely look into a 3rd gen intake cam and maybe a 3sge intake manifold. Did you do the build yourself?

yeah, the build is all me, but MCS did the machine work for the head. I originally bought a st165 3sgte longblock from a TR member a few years back. back then i didn't know the difference between the 1st and 2nd gen motors, but i figured it out sooner or later. so i was just like what the hell lemme keep the block. its hard to find parts for the 1st gen head (cams, valves, etc) so i bought a cheap 2nd gen head and used that for the build. took almost 2 years, but i think it was worth it. this motor is a power monster... i still havent messed with timing or anything, i think if i retard the exhaust cam a bit i can pick up at least 10-15hp. i might just go with a boost controller and an ATS manifold in the next few months
