what kind of drifter keeps stock suspension and stock engine parts anyways??

all they are going after is the chassis before they drop coil overs rims a new engine and all that good stuff anyways

you look right on the vin and it say JT1AE863598259 like that what else do you want it says AE86 right on it!

Now just to let you know not all GT-S received limited slip differentials it was very limited options from the factory.

I would just like to say that i really dislike you guys for giving my best friend so much hell because he got an AE86. If it ever rains he can drift it because of the lower traction. Are you forgettging that hte motor makes more torque than horsepower also and that car only weighs aroune 2000 lbs ? Come on now give steve a break that car freaking rules like no tomorrow.

Matt most people say its an AE85 because it shares SO many qualitys of the Japanese spec AE85.

1. The motor is a 4AC. The Japanese spec AE85 motor is a 3AC its basically the same except it is a 1.5 liter SOHC carburated motor.

2. ONLY AE85s had front disc brakes and rear drums same as the U.S spec SR5.

3. The only difference between the Japanese AE85 and the U.S Corolla SR5 is that AE85s in Japan had the flush Levin headlights.

I think it's better to get a nice sr5 and fix it than a crappy gts and replace everything. Nice purchase EK! Every GTS I've ever seen in Tampa is run into the ground. I have an sr5 with 62,00 miles on it and NO rust or damage. I only have to worry about mechanical upgrades.

since we're showing off, heres a pic of mine: http://www.geocities.com/aphxero/stuff/hachi.jpg
