If it is a single cam then it is an AE85 Trueno with no LSD and just regular suspension. The AE86 comes with LSD sport suspension and a DOHC engine. What you have is an AE85. Comparing a AE85 with an AE86 is like *cough* comparing chocolate to shit.. - Yuichi (InitialD)

Though the Chassis code says AE86 in Japan it would be a loley ae85. Not saying its not a good car just not a drift car. Needs alot to be compared to a GTS. You need more than an engine to get it running as well as a Corolla GTS. 70hp is not too impressive. But its all good. It looks really nice. I almost got a GTS before buying my 2nd 2 but it had slight issues that I didnt want to deal with.

Hrm.. I thought it was a GTS... well anyway the car seems to be in great condition from the few times I was in the car. Only problem I noticed was a small patch of rust on the sunroof and maybe the muffler never took a good look at the muffler though.

I would justl ike to say fuck you to all of the people that say steve got an ae85

what kind of drifter keeps stock suspension and stock engine parts anyways??

all they are going after is the chassis before they drop coil overs rims a new engine and all that good stuff anyways

you look right on the vin and it say JT1AE863598259 like that what else do you want it says AE86 right on it!

Now just to let you know not all GT-S received limited slip differentials it was very limited options from the factory.

I would just like to say that i really dislike you guys for giving my best friend so much hell because he got an AE86. If it ever rains he can drift it because of the lower traction. Are you forgettging that hte motor makes more torque than horsepower also and that car only weighs aroune 2000 lbs ? Come on now give steve a break that car freaking rules like no tomorrow.
