Hey I have a quick question.....I am looking into another project and Im thinking about going the GS300 route.....my question is would it be easier to do the 2jz gte swap with "M" tranny on a 99' GS or on those "Aristo" 93's?????? I know you can boost the 99' but I want the manual transmission......Is this possible????

soo what your asking is .. is it possible to add 2jzgte with a manual tranny to a 99 gs ?? if soo yes but with alot of mods to get the manual in there with the pedal assembly and such if your curious about that swap check Club Lexus - Home there is a guy doing that same swap to his gs iam sure he can answer any questions you might have

you have 2 options. a manual w58 tranny (either celica, supra NA, SC300M) or a R154... if using a R154 it would be off a 1jz supra or soarer, or a 1jz bellhousing and a 7mgte tranny. then theres also the getrag 6 speed from the 94+ supra, but those run 3k for trans only,
can the conversion be done? yes, easy? no.
