anyways right now im saving up for some new struts and im trying to convince dad to let me get some intrax springs too...

after that its up for grabs as to what im going to get.

i have an intake and the visual stuff (aka rice).

i want speed but i want this other stuff too which could help performance also... hehe

lets see headers and muffler with some new cat back piping minus resonator

carbon fiber hood?

ported and polished head? (a guy in san diego is selling one i can get)

im also looking into getting a lightened underdrive pulley and maybe a different throttle body (overbored?) but im not too up on the science of the gains from the throttle body...

eventually since i wont go turbo (no cash) i wanna just do a rebuild of the whole engine and upgrade small things....since i am at 99k miles.

any comments on these matters?

my real wish right now is to swap to a 5sp tranny and i know the bottom end will bolt on pretty easily but getting the pedal hydraulics reservoir and etc swapped over from the ECT would be hard so i scrapped that idea.

is there anything u can upgrade on an auto tranny besides the valves?

I got my turbo kit from E.L.PROTOTYPES. Thay work on toyotas all day. I have a stock tacoma 2.4 motor with a turbo running 8 psi. I have the stock clutch and 2 1/4 inch exhaust 15.2 is the best in the 1/4. The 3 inch exhaust is on the way from down pipe out no cat.

the turbo kit is sold by TRD NW in washington and its not out yet and its supposed to be like $2600 they said. all us camryman.org members are drooling til then.

as for my car NOS is a big no no unless i rebuild or get a swap...i considered but dad would kick my ass cuz we both know that on my engine with almost 100k now it would probably blow up my tranny AND engine in a week (esp the way i drive)

and yeah i cant drift my car (ass drag) it like tries to but it doesnt wanna

el prototypes just finished putting a 3s-gte in a 92 camry one of the guys from the camryman site. its not done yet but since u have to use a 88-91 v6 5sp tranny it was like $4200

if i could get a turbo kit (i could proably put it on with help from u guys maybe) i would get one. right now im looking at a P&P head for sale so when i get money ill get that probly. i know some stuf about turboes and i know how they work but im a little shady when it comes to the wastegate/oil/water cooling stuff...but i know basically u need the turbo manifold some oil water lines down pipe etc...(and an IC usually) and some other stuff

sup guys.....another toyota owner on here now....Im on the camryman boards too.

I just got my carbon fiber hood and its nice. I actually put it on by myself i was so excited (its hard to buy parts for your car and let em sit) It was a lil hard to unbolt the stock hood and lift it off without damaging the car but i managed (im not a little guy). Im guessing i have the only 5 speed v6 camry with a C/F hood now. But who knows.

Any of you guys ever go to moroso in west palm beach? Im racing there this friday.

I was thinking of going up to Desoto one night just to meet some people from the northern part of florida. What nights do they run out there?
