anyways im trying to get off work to go to moroso on dec. 10-11 i think for that big weekend. if i have to work on sat nite tho i may show up sunday for the day but i wont race (never have yet) til i do some runs at desoto.

as for desoto ive only been once and i know they sound like they do stuff every weekend on sat nites i guess but im not sure and if they do i dunno how big the turnouts are each time. im waiting for this website to have another tamparacing.com night so there will be alot of people around.

Sorry I havent been around Im in a shitty situation at work. Did I hear Carbon fiber hood for a camry????
Hell yea where can I get one? I figure my hood has to weigh at least 200lbs. that bitch is heavy! Dont hate me but I am gutting the rear of my car for a while for 2 reason. To see if its anyfaster and it hits HARD AS HELL with out a rear deck!

glok has a gen 4 camry (97-2001). so his hood wont fit us gen 3 owners cars

but in cali there are guys working on prototypes and they hope to have some produced very soon for us but theyre gonna coastu ...hehe like 400-500$

Whats up guys its great to see some more 4doors out there. I used to drive a camry until my brother totalled it. Then I got a maxima. The camry was a great car but I feel that the maxima is way better IMO. I saw a Black Camry at subs saturday. It was the damn nicest camry Ive ever seen. It had an aftermarket spoiler and aero kit. sweet. I think Im gonna start postingmore on thetoyota board cus there aint nothing happening on the nissan board.

 

hey blackmax do u konw what year that black one was? if it was a gen4 (97-01) then its from lakeland. ive seen a black one with the TRD kit and chrome rims around here but i always pass him going the opposite way one day ill find him. its like an older guy cuz i saw kids and a wife in the car one time. and it picked up a kid at my high school once too.

i have a 93 the last gen. maximas are basically been on par with camrys til like last year when they bumped up the HP to 222. but the styling and everything else inside and out is basically the same. theyre very nice one here in lakeland is beige with ghost graphix and alot of hyper white stuff and body kit its pretty sweet

next year the new camry is coming out (due to at least)...the 02 will hopefully have some performance gains

imo i think that camry suck like every other cars out there that come out of factory but the thing is not how much it comes out of factory with its is how much money do u have to put in to it to make it turn faster and go faster...lucky for me the ae86 is a good choice what yall think camry guys do u think u want to put 10gs in a camry to make it fast...?????

yeah they really do suck out of the factory.

esp compared to a new maxima

i dont plan on doing that much $$$ in my car unless i somehow win the lotto.

for now im just going basic bolt ons i/e/h and head work. it sux having a car that has little aftermarket support. but were making voices heard and were getting more stuff made for our cars through petitioning and etc. and there is actually alot out for our cars (just not as much as H/A cars or mitsu or vw or nismo) but we have stuff out. theres just not alot of variety (for example honda civics have like 10 different companies that make intakes and headers and exhaust and like 5 or more turbo kits. we only have like one choice (which means the prices will be high until there is competition) and custom work is always alot of $$$. and for me im 17!!! hahha money sux! or at least nothaving it does!

and it sux cuz most of aftermarket stuff that IS available for camrys is mostly rice. (visual and etc)

ill probably finish out my car with the e/h and get the rest of the body kit after i lower it and then ill probably get rid of it and get something easy to mod. but my next car will most def be a sleeper (until im done ill probalby get a c/f hood or something but im not getting any more visual stuff!!! its a big WASTE of money. i guess i learned my lesson (that quote should be in the racers bible)
