not sure of the power but if i did it i would leave it stock for awhile

its a fairly simple swap if u can fabricate... ive been wanting to do the swap for someone, but no ones got the cash to do it

^exactly it takes time. youve got to know how to fabricate, and be a good welder. other than that, its wiring and little tuning things to do. therefore you need extra money for things youlll need that run you into problems.

why would it be a mess if you have a carb pickup that would be a dream then you dont have any wiring to match it will be all 1J basic stuff ou dont have any systems on the toy pickup that have to be integrated into the 1j wiring except for maybe coolant temp and speed sensor and tach . oh and byt he way 22RE means its fuel injected 22R is carb.

but its not that serious like everyone else said
