i just came up wit a 1980 corolla i had some questions about this car a 1980 toyota corolla i was wondering if this car is good for drifting or wat kind of motor or mods i can put in this car well if you got any information it would great thanks....

does it have a 2tc, 3tc, or a k motor in it



and a great mod for this car would be to sell it to me

 

a 3tc with webers, an agressive cam and headers would be a good start, then kick it up with high comp pistons, msd ignition and a light weight flywheel, after that you are pretty close just holly blue fuel pump, 2 1/2" exhaust, w58 tranny conversion.


but don't completly forget about suspention and brakes, kyb and brembo are a good place for those upgrades.

 

You can pretty much do anything with the car. Drifting, roadracing, and build it for the dragstrip like im doing for mine even rally if your into it. Go on Toyota3TC.com they will have any answer you need. All the guys on there are real cool and there is no drama on there either. If you want drifting your gonna need the suspension out of the AE86 for the best performance. And do what ^ said.
