need some help or Ideas on a 90 Celica gt-s
I will be getting a 90 Celica Gt-s, I will probably do the 3sgte swap on it, I can get the jap spec 3sgte with the AWD tranny, how hard is it to make it a AWD? can I do the swap and leave the tranny in the car without a rear drive shaft?

You cannot use the AWD transmission. Converting to AWD will take a LOT (and I mean a LOT) of money. You can use the transmission from the 5SFE, which is stock, or the V6 Camry/Solara Transmission will also work and is beefier.

It couldnt be THAT much, its just adding a rear end that will work and the drive shaft right? or is there more than im not seeing

You're better off with a st185 clip b/c there just so much more parts for it. a 205 motor will be hard to get parts for sometimes. Don't bother with converting your gts into awd. The work and money involved, you can just sell your celica and buy a alltrac for 6k in great condition. Are you just planning on swapping the car yourself? If you need someone to swap it for you call Sean at CentralFLPerform.com he did my swap. Very clean! Oh yeah, you don't want to run a awd tranny on a fwd setup.

use a mr2 tranny and you get a lsd.

Im Getting this GT-S for damm near Free, Its got a 170k miles and everyting works, can anybody get underside pictures of an ALL-TRAC celica and send them to me camaroz28_001@yahoo.com I need rear end pics drive shaft pics basicly everything under the car,

LOL your seriously going to atempt this? Well I would recommend you search through celicatech.com. the #1 resource for celica swaps. I think they had a thread about this. When you register put down GT4SOM as a reference

will do, and I will be doing this swap for less than $3000, I already have an engine scoped out for $1700+/-. Thats the 3rg gen 260hp with the awd tranny. I cant be that hard, the GT4 is a GT-S w/ the awd crap on it. GT-S is already 5 lug-4 wheel Disk. so for $1000 (price of car)+$3000(price of swap) I should have a $10k car
