hey i just talked to XAT racing and i was told they no longer do anymore swaps for the SR5, so if you know any shop that does swap's please let me know.

Are you converting to 4ag?
are you swapping everything to make it a gts?

 

i would do it for myself but im too busy with work and school (Itt) and I wish i could find the time to do it. I dont want the full GTS converison i just want the motor swap just to make the car more realible. My current motor is about to go. and i just want something with a little more ummpf. instead of this gay 4ac.

 

hey the 4ac is not gay it happens to be the same motor i have been driving for about 5 years so play fair your 4ac is gay maybe but not mine i have a 4ac with port and pollish, 3 angle valve job, shaved 30 thousanths, weber outlaw top draft carb., and a 2" inch manifold back exhaust w/ no cat. and a Pilot flow threw muffler. it has balls like a beat up 4age that hasn't had a oil change in 18 months but it does what i need..........

 

Why would XAT turn away work?

 

they didnt really turn the work away, its just they up'ed the price for the stage 1 swap 1500. And i was like whoa. So im trying to find another shop, but if not i may just fork it over......the 4ac is stock so its a turtle.

well i talked to sean and he seemed to be a cool guy, and gave me a descent quote for a slivertop 20v. not bad. might have to take it there.

 

screw all these other shops. look up back yard productions in miami. they are a great shop and i have had nothing but great service from them. my cars is down there right now getting fully built. you will not regret it, i can promise you that.

 

Sean does awsome work. CFP is one of the greatest shops around.
He will do it right and not do you wrong.
