7afe wiith 4agze pistons....

Default 7afe wiith 4agze pistons....

Hey guys

WIll i have 7afe turbo and i want to boost higher. I have been doing so research and they have been saying just go got 4agze pistons and put it in there....My problem is that i want to do 7agze or whatever is it....I have a 4age big port head, so 7afe block with 4age head...My qesution is can i use 4agze pistons on my 7afe block...And if i do the 4age head do i need the 4age ecu becaues the mainfold is different from the 7afe???.....Please help me out what i need and information i need... I'm welling to spend $1100 on the project.....

I would think if you do that, it will definately drop the compression. I may be wrong but on a project like that I would recommend using mega squirt.

Thats what i wanted to do drop the compression...so i can boost higher....So need help guys......HELP PLEASE...

ok, if you want to do a 4agze or something boosted then start with a 4agze, not a 4a or 7afe. if you want to do a 7age then you have to keep it n/a. the FE botom end will no hold up to the abuse of boost. and parts are not interchangable bewteen the FE and GE bottom ends especially the 7a because of the increase in stroke. so either stick with the whole 4agze or do an n/a/ 7age or something similer.

So can i just use the 4agze pistons on the 7afe??...Yes or no....And not do 7age.... If not i'm going 4agze with turbo.....

no you cannot put the 4agze pistons in to a 7afe block they are not right and the 7afe block will granade

yeah, what he said, which i said in my other post, you just didn't get it. just use the WHOLE 4agze block and head together. it will make enough power to please u.

Ok my problem is that if i do the 4agze swap i'm not good with wiring the engine up... SO is there a shop that i can pay to do the wiring harness for me???....
