oh c'mon. be different. build a 250hp, carbureted, dry sumped beast. it'll scream at you like the fucking world is ending and it'll rev to 10k. or you could just play with your wastegates and blowme valves
. ill let you know next time i see the car. its in good shape so i dunno what its going to cost. but ill let you know.

Actually, what I was refering to with the SR20 was buying one if I get rich and see how long it lasts without any oil
I'm tired of this SR20 craze...SBCs have been in everything too, but they've been around for 50 years. There are plenty of other better engines to put in shit. Also, I'm not a fan of carburation.
My plans for the Celica are actually 1JZ, ultimately maybe even 1.5JZ

How many times in how many threads did I say that my next car (I promise) will be JZ powered?
In this case, it wont have 250HP at the wheels stock, without modifying it, it'd have 280 in the back more than likely.
I only know of 1 guy who actually did something like that and have contact with him, so its pretty original IMO. Not as original as my "infinite budget possibilities" MkIII would be, but pretty damn original

Wouldnt stay twin for too long I dont think though, but if it did I'd get some nice Y pipes instead. Also, since I wouldnt be doing the wiring, it might as well be a VVTi one (single turbo)
I wouldnt go big/huge/gargantuan though because this is supposed to replace my MkIII as a daily driver in a few years
